Changing the amount of detail shown in a list of transactions

In the “Description/Notes” column in a list of transactions, you’ll notice nearly every transaction has at least two lines of detail about the transaction. It has a dark, bolded line with the main description of the transaction. Most times, it also has one or more lighter lines below the main description that contains additional details about the transaction like the date of the transaction or whether a debit or credit card was used.

If you would like to hide the unnecessary parts of the transaction detail and make list as simple as possible, follow these steps:

  1. Find the “Options” link just above the transaction list. Click on the “Options” link. A menu will appear.
  2. Click on the “Detail View” menu option.
  3. After a short period of time, the menu will disappear and the list will be changed to hide the details about the transaction.

To show the details again, repeat the steps above.
