Downloading a list of transactions to Excel or other programs

Downloading for a particular date range

You can download a list of transactions to a file on your computer where you can open it in a program like Microsoft Excel or import it into a finance management program.

To download a list of transactions, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Accounts" tab at the top of the screen.
  2. Find the “Options” link at the top of the list of your accounts.
  3. Click on the “Options” link. A menu will appear.
  4. Click on the “Download to Excel - CSV” menu option.
  5. Choose a start date and end date for the range of transactions you would like to download.
  6. Choose the account from which you would like to download the transactions OR simply leave the "All Accounts" option to download transactions from all of your accounts.
  7. Click the "Download" button.

The file will begin downloading to your computer. Depending on your web browser you are using, you may be asked to choose whether to save the file or open it. You can choose either option.

Downloading for other criteria

You can also download an Excel/CSV file for more than just a date range. For example, you could search for transactions under a certain dollar amount or from a particular store. Then you can download that list.

To do that, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Accounts" tab at the top of the screen.
  2. If you would like to download transactions from only one of your accounts, click on the name of the account in the list. If you would like to download transactions from all of your accounts, click on the "Account Details" menu on the left side of the screen and then click on "View All Transactions".
  3. You should now be viewing the "Transaction History" screen with a list of your transactions.
  4. In the "Search Transactions" box, enter the word, amount, or date range that you would like to download transaction history for. If you need help on what to enter, click on the "How do I search?" link.
  5. Press the "Search" button.
  6. After a few seconds, the page should display the transactions that match what you have searched for.
  7. Find the "Options" menu at the top of the list of transactions.
  8. Click on the "Options" menu. A list of options will be displayed.
  9. Click on the "Download these transactions as CSV (Excel)" link.

The file will begin downloading to your computer. Depending on your web browser you are using, you may be asked to choose whether to save the file or open it. You can choose either option.
