Goldenwest Named Among Best Credit Unions to Work For

Ogden, UT: August 30, 2016 – For the third consecutive year, Credit Union Journal has named Goldenwest among the Best Credit Unions To Work For. The prestigious list includes credit unions that excel in creating quality workplaces for their employees. Goldenwest earned the award in the category for large credit unions across the nation with more than $1 billion in assets.The entire Best Credit Unions To Work For list is comprised of a total of 45 credit unions in four different asset size categories. The complete list of winning credit unions wills be featured in the September issue of Credit Union Journal.

There is a two-step process for identifying the Best Credit Unions To Work For. The first step evaluates each participating credit union’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This equates for approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second step consists of employee surveys which evaluate experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace. This part is worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The two scores combined determine the final ranking.
