$3.75 Million Bonus Dividend

With the largest year-end Bonus Dividend in Goldenwest history, Credit Union members will collectively earn $3.75 million! Over the last 19 years, our Credit Union has returned more than $24 million to members with the Bonus Dividend program.

The year-end Bonus Dividend is an annual reminder of the value of participating in our not-for-profit financial cooperative. With the support of the Board of Directors, we are thrilled to make a positive impact on the financial well-being of our members with the Bonus Dividend.

For 2022, the one-time dividend of 4.40% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) will be paid on top of the stated monthly dividend of 0.05% APY. Members will earn 4.45% APY for the month of December on primary shares, secondary shares, Christmas Club shares, and IRA shares. Dividend earning amounts will vary by member based on the average daily balance in their individual accounts over the 2022 calendar year. The dividend will be deposited into savings accounts on January 1, 2023.

In addition to the Bonus Dividend, there are many reasons to bring your deposits to Goldenwest. If you want to earn a higher yield, but still need liquidity in your account, open an Insured Money Market Account with rates as high as 2.60% APY. Our Certificate Specials include: 2.75% APY for 8-months; 4.00% for 13-months; 4.10% APY for 21-months with a one-time bump; and, 4.25% APY for 33-months. (Rates current as of December 1, 2022.)

President’s Club members automatically earn an additional 0.25% on Certificates! There are no membership fees to participate in the President’s Club. Simply opt-in to the President’s Club at any branch or by calling the Contact Center at 800-283-4550. Your President’s Club benefits will remain valid as long as your aggregate deposit balance remains at $50,000 or greater.

It’s wonderful to give and help others during this time of year. This December marks the 24th annual Golden Tree holiday giving campaign in partnership with Weber Human Services. With the generous donations provided by our members and employees, we are making a difference in the lives of local children and their families.
