Transaction Details and Categorization

Selecting a transaction description or category displays the Transaction Details screen. The Transaction Details screen allows you to add notes to the transaction and categorize the transaction.

  1. Selecting the transaction description or category reveals the Transaction Details.
  2. Assign a category to the transaction by selecting a category from the drop-down list.
  3. The total amount lists the total transaction amount. If you split the transaction, the sum of the total assigned amounts must not exceed the total transaction amount.
  4. Assign a transaction to more than one category by selecting the Split button on the Transactions Details screen.
  5. Remove category assignments by selecting the "X" icon next to the split button.
