Goldenwest Opens Branch in Mountain Green
MOUNTAIN GREEN, UTAH – June 16, 2025 – Goldenwest Credit Union has officially opened its 50th branch, expanding its footprint in Morgan County with a new location in Mountain Green. The full-service branch is located at 4950 Old Highway Road, across from Lee’s Market.
This marks the Credit Union’s second location in Morgan County, nearly two decades after launching its first branch in the area in 2005.
“We are thrilled to open in Mountain Green, allowing us to better serve our members in beautiful Morgan County,” said Goldenwest President and CEO Kerry Wahlen. “The gracious welcome we’ve received from the community strengthens our commitment to contributing to the success of this fast-growing area.”
The ribbon-cutting ceremony drew a crowd of community leaders and special guests, including Utah State Representative Tiara Auxier, Morgan County Commissioner Raelene Blocker, and representatives from the Morgan County Chamber of Commerce. Weber State Men’s Basketball Coach Eric Duft attended alongside members of his coaching staff and team. Goldenwest Board Chairman Dan Musgrave, Vice Chair Stoney Wayment, and the Credit Union’s executive leadership team were also on hand to celebrate the grand opening, joined by more than 100 employees, members, and local residents.
Branch Manager and local Mountain Green resident Candice Caldwell will oversee daily operations and lead the member service team at the new location.
The Mountain Green branch offers a comprehensive range of financial services, including auto and home loans, free checking accounts, Visa cards with instant issue, and insurance products. The facility features multiple drive-thru lanes and a drive-up ATM for convenient access.
Goldenwest is offering exclusive, limited-time promotional offers to Morgan County residents as part of the grand opening celebration.
