Exclusive Member Savings at Disneyland

There are numerous ways our financial co-op members save money with Goldenwest. And it may surprise you to learn members are getting great deals on items other than reduced-rate loans and free checking accounts. Right now, Goldenwest members are experiencing significant savings on tickets to Disneyland!

Several years ago, Goldenwest sold discount Disneyland tickets in our branches. Although the program ended a few decades back, we continue to have members contact us requesting discount tickets to help maximize their vacation dollars.

I’m pleased to report Goldenwest has negotiated a deal with our local travel partner, Get Away Today, to offer members the lowest guaranteed price available on Disneyland Park Hopper tickets. Since launching the program two months ago, our members have purchased more than 750 tickets through this exclusive money-saving program.

Discount Disneyland tickets are a benefit available to members of Goldenwest Credit Union, USU Credit Union and Healthcare Credit Union. If you are not a member of our Credit Union family, and would like to join, visit any branch location.

We have successfully completed the operating system merger between Goldenwest and Healthcare Credit Unions. With the operating system integration, Healthcare Credit Union members have full access to their accounts at Goldenwest and USU Credit Union branches. Likewise, Goldenwest and USU Credit Union members can access their accounts and receive services at Healthcare Credit Union offices. We gladly welcome all Healthcare Credit Union members and employees to the Goldenwest family.

At the Goldenwest Annual Meeting held April 11th, Chairman Bill Hart announced Tad Neuenswander, Brandon Hendrickson and Noé Vázquez had been elected to serve as Directors for three year terms. We are grateful to our volunteers, past and present, who step forward to serve our members in this important capacity. I extend a special thanks to Karen Kagie for her service on the Board during the past six years.

We recently broke ground for a new Goldenwest branch in Marriott-Slaterville (Weber County) on 1900 West about one block south of Pioneer Road. We look forward to expanding our branch network to better serve our members in the Ogden area, and anticipate the new office opening in early fall.

Congratulations to Karla Brown, our employee of the month. Karla is the assistant manager at our downtown Ogden branch on 26th Street. She does an equally fantastic job of coaching employees and taking care of members. We appreciate all Karla does to make Goldenwest a great place to work and do business.
